Sharon and Ed come to their counseling careers from different orientations. Sharon trained to be an engineer at Purdue University while Ed was a philosophy major at a small liberal arts college in Ohio.

Following her career as an engineer with General Motors, Sharon pursued a theological graduate degree at Anderson University School of Theology. Following this degree, she trained as a marriage and family therapist at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Ed’s graduate training took him first to Princeton Theological Seminary and following work as a hospital chaplain and as a pastor, he completed his Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Care and Counseling at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

Both Sharon and Ed are Clinical Fellows of The American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. Both are also members of The American Association of Christian Counselors. Sharon is in full-time private practice within the Castleton area (shared with Ed) and has a second office location in Cumberland, IN. Ed is currently Director of Counseling at Bishop Simon Brute College Seminary, affiliated with Marian University.

Both Sharon and Ed believe that God is at the core of all healing – physical, emotional and relational. They conduct their practice with a profound respect and awareness of the Spirit’s work in their clients and the counseling process.
